El Chaltén

About 216 km from El Calafate to the north of Lake Viedma and at the foot of the famous Mount Fitz Roy is this small village, which offers a spectacle to our view and gives us the opportunity to do outdoor activities such as trekking of high and low intensity or climbing vertical walls ideal for the most demanding mountaineers. For this excursion we will have the possibility of selecting the following activities according to our interest and physical capacities: Free Trekking Option (Self-guided Laguna Capri): This option is for people who wish to do the activities on their own, managing their own time without necessarily belonging to a group of hikers. Upon arrival to El Chaltén we will have the possibility to do some hiking along the self-guided trails of less or more intensity. Or simply enjoy this small village and its visual environment. Box lunch included. Option Mirador de los Cóndores and Chorrillo del Salto: These short distance trails will allow us to enjoy a panoramic view of Cerro Torre and Mount Fitz Roy. This viewpoint will also allow us to get a beautiful view of the town, the valley of the Rio de las Vueltas and if we are lucky we can appreciate the flight of condors flying over the area. We will go to a waterfall of incredible beauty a short distance from the beginning of the hike. Includes lunch in a restaurant and conventional tour guide.
