Patagonia Night

We will pick you up at 7:00 pm at the hotel in El Calafate and drive to the outskirts of the city, where the estancia El Galpón is located. During the trip, which will run along the mythical Provincial Route 11, we will enjoy beautiful views of Lake Argentino and the Andes Mountains. Upon arrival at the estancia, we will take a tour to learn about the history, customs and traditions of rural life in Argentina in the purest gaucho style. After this guided tour, we will have a delicious dinner. The menu includes three dishes: meat empanada, lentil casserole with chorizo and country bread with bacon. For dessert we will enjoy a homemade flan and, as a drink, you can opt for a soft drink or mineral water. After dinner, we will watch a brief 15-minute introductory projection on astronomy. Once we have assimilated the basic concepts, we will move on to practice. Are you ready to observe the stars and other celestial bodies? Using a telescope, we will identify the Milky Way and various nebulae and constellations. At the end of this incredible astronomical observation experience, we will return to the hotel in El Calafate, where we will arrive at midnight.
