Description

Departure from the Argentine town of El Calafate at 6:45 a.m., from the hotel where the passenger is staying. Around 10:30 a.m., we will arrive at the border and once the customs formalities are completed, we will have a break in the Chilean town of Cerro Castillo, where there is a cafeteria with various services and money exchange. Afterwards, we will continue our way to Torres del Paine National Park, arriving at the first attraction of our trip at 11:40 a.m.: Sarmiento de Gamboa Lake. There we will make a brief stop to take the first pictures and enjoy the breathtaking scenery. The next stop of this excursion will be in Laguna Amarga with a beautiful view of the Towers to get the typical postcard. We will have to pay the entrance fee to the National Park (additional). We will continue our way to Nordenskjold Lake, where we will arrive at 1:00 pm. We will be able to enjoy this beautiful mirror of water; reflejando one of the main attractions of the Park: the imposing "Cuernos del Paine". Around 1:30 pm, you will arrive at Pudeto, where you will trek to the Salto Grande (waterfall of great water flow) and then continue to the Mirador de los Cuernos del Paine. This low difficulty trail has an approximate duration of 1 hour and a half and in a break we will take the opportunity to eat the picnic included in the activity. After enjoying the walk, we will leave to visit a last panoramic point of the Paine Massif and Lake Pehoe, arriving around 4:00 pm. From there, we will return to the Laguna Amarga area (17:00 hs). At 6:00 pm, we will arrive at Cerro Castillo, returning to El Calafate at approximately 10:00 pm.
