Chorrillo del Salto

It is a short and easy hike that introduces us to the local landscapes and flora. The starting point for this simple hike is located on route 41 that leads us to Lago del Desierto, 3 km away from the town. We start along a path under a vegetation of lengas and ñires, until after a few minutes, we arrive at Chorrillo del Salto, a beautiful natural waterfall that falls from some mountainous cliffs about 25 meters high, bringing melt water from the glaciers that are in the high peaks. This is a place protected from the winds, ideal for a mini picnic. You can choose between going by car to the parking lot and thus walk only 15 minutes, or walk the 3 km from the village (45 minutes).
