Laguna Capri

Walk among glaciers, mountains, and forests on this hiking route from Laguna Capri to El Chaltén. Enter the National Park of Los Glaciares. We will meet you at your hotel at 12:00 pm to start a 4 km round trip hike to reach Laguna Capri. We will start at the Río de las Vueltas lookout, which offers a beautiful panoramic view of the valleys and mountains in the National Park of Los Glaciares. We will cross the Patagonian forest, dominated by Antarctic beeches and white oaks, after two hours of walking on foot, we will arrive at Laguna Capri. For approximately an hour and a half, we will rest and enjoy the view of Mount Fitz Roy, also known as Cerro Chaltén. Did you know that for many years it was thought that this mountain was, in fact, a volcano? We will discover the reason during our hiking route. After relaxing while contemplating this natural monument over 3,400 meters in altitude, we will return to El Chaltén. We will end the pedestrian tour at 5:00 pm.
