Description
With this trekking route through Los Glaciares National Park you will contemplate the wonderful landscapes in a different way. At 08:00 a.m. we will pick you up at the hotel where you are staying in El Chaltén. From there we will get on a minibus and take the provincial route 41 that follows the path of the Río de las Vueltas, allowing us to have beautiful views for photographs. An hour later we will start a 20 km trekking route and, first of all, we will pass by the Río de las Vueltas. We will then border the Blanco River, born from the thawing of the Andes Mountains. We will arrive at the famous Piedras Blancas Glacier Viewpoint, from where we will have a spectacular panoramic view of the snow-capped peak with the same name, a marvel! We will continue walking for 1 hour to reach the last mountain point, the base of Mount Fitz Roy and Laguna de los Tres. After this, we will return to Poincenot camp, where a hot lunch awaits us to replenish our strength (optional). At 3:30 pm we will begin the descent and on the way down we will be lucky enough to see the Capri Lagoon and the Estancia Madsen viewpoint. We will conclude the trekking through Los Glaciares National Park arriving at 17:00 hs. to El Chaltén.
