Viewpoint of the Condors
Image Gallery
Description
It is one of the shortest hikes that starts from El Chaltén and reaches a natural lookout on the summit of a small hill, located above the town entrance, with an exceptional panoramic view of the Torre, Fitz Roy, and Rio de las Vueltas valleys. This lookout is a strategic point for the eventual observation of condors and eagles. Returning, there is another trail that leads to the Eagles' Lookout, from where you have a beautiful view of the steppe and Lake Viedma. The tour can be complemented with a visit to the National Park Interpretation Center.
