The lodge is surrounded by a majestic natural landscape, protected by lush forests that open up to panoramic views of the lake, Mount Fitz Roy, and the Andes Cordillera.

A bit of History: At the beginning of the 20th century, a Finnish adventurer, Alfred Ramström, settled at the foot of the Andes Cordillera, on the southern margin of Lake Viedma. In memory of his homeland, he named his lodge after the capital of his country: Helsingfors (Helsinki in Swedish). There he lived with his wife, Marie Lisau, and their children, giving life to this wonderful corner, without knowing that they would become protagonists in one of the most emotional stories of Patagonia. In the 1960s, a traditional Santa Cruz family acquired these beautiful lands, and since 1995, it has welcomed visitors from all over the world who seek to discover Patagonia through a unique and exclusive experience like the one offered by Helsingfors.
