Description
{"insert": "We will pick you up at your hotel to go to Pargua to board the ferry and cross the Chacao Channel. Thus begins this tour Ancud, Dalcahue and Castro, with navigation in which, if the weather accompanies us, we can visit the deck and admire the surrounding landscape where we can see sea lions and pelicans. We will dock in Chacao to continue the route to Ancud, where we will visit Fort San Antonio, built at the end of the 18th century, one of the last Spanish fortifications in Chile. We will also visit some heritage churches, the Plaza de Armas and the Municipal Market. Afterwards, we will continue to Dalcahue, a town in front of Quinchao Island that has a traditional gastronomic market of stilt houses. We will visit the handicrafts fair and see the Nuestra Señora de los Dolores church, a World Heritage Site. Then, we will continue our trip to Castro, capital of the Big Island of Chiloé. We will stop to take pictures at the Pedro Montt stilt houses, visit the San Francisco church in front of the city square and the handicraft market. At the Gamboa viewpoint we will take a last look at the town. The start and end time will vary according to the starting point chosen for the tour, either Puerto Varas or Puerto Montt.\If you choose Puerto Montt as your starting point for the tour, remember that we only pick you up at the hotels in the center of the city. If your accommodation is an Airbnb, we will have to set a meeting point to start the tour, because the pick up is not done in this type of accommodation.]
