Description
We depart from Pto. Pañuelo accompanied by the seagulls that eagerly for food provided by the passengers follow the catamaran on part of its journey. Upon entering the Blest arm, we pass by Centinela Island, where rest the remains of Perito Moreno, creator of the National Parks. After an hour of navigation, we arrive at Pto. Cántaros to enter the Valdivian rainforest via a steep path that leads to Los Cántaros Lake, whose discharge feeds the waterfall. On our way back, we cross the Bay and can opt to continue the excursion by bus to Pto. Alegre where we will board and navigate Lake Frías in the midst of a forested landscape in which stands out the imposing and white silhouette of Tronador Peak. We return to Pto. Blest to return to Bariloche.
