Excursion to the Lakes and Valleys

Description

In this tour the idea is to discover the fascinating geography of the Fuegian Andes. We leave from the coast of the Beagle, to enter the mountain area where we can appreciate the geological formation of the place and see the shapes of the peaks of its mountains with colors tinged by the presence of the forest on its slopes. The first stop will be in the Carvajal Valley where you can see the perfect division between the Alvear and Martial Mountains. This is where we have the establishments that process the peat in the area to be used mostly in gardening. The glacial valleys are the ones that separate each of the mountain ranges that make up the Andean massif and where we can stop to take pictures and also to visit the Siberian and Alaskan Huskies kennels. Arriving at the highest point of the route, at 480 meters above sea level, we will have a wonderful view down to the Escondido Lake, where after a few more kilometers in the vehicle we will descend to the shores of the lake. Returning by the same road, we will stop at one of the winter centers, so we can do some snow-related activities, such as snowshoeing, snowmobiling, dog sledding or enjoy cross-country skiing, all these activities are optional. We will then return to our hotels.
