Description

Excursion that allows us to know and enjoy the landscape of a sub-Antarctic forest located on the shores of the Beagle Channel in the southwest corner of the province of Tierra del Fuego, Antarctica and South Atlantic Islands. We depart from the hotels to go to the End of the World Train Station, where you can link this tour with the entrance to the park aboard the Fuegian Southern Railway (optional). At the Ensenada crossing we will wait for you to visit the bay of the same name, where you will have an excellent view of the Navarino and Hoste Islands in the Chilean part of the Archipelago and the Redonda Island. From there we will pass Lake Acigami, former Lake Roca where after a short walk along its shores we will go to the Alkush Visitor Center where we can enjoy something hot (optional), we continue our walk along the Lapataia River until we reach the Bay of the same name, where not only ends the National Route 3, but it is the union of the South and West limits. At this point some footbridges will take us to the panoramic point where the views of the Channel and the mountain range will be the protagonists. We will return to Ushuaia after noon.
