Spider Crab Fishing
Image Gallery
Description
In the morning we will leave our hotel to go to the southernmost fishing village in the world "Puerto Almanza", 75 km from Ushuaia. The road to this picturesque village is an attraction in itself, as it crosses glacial valleys with snow-capped peaks, rivers, lagoons and peat bogs. After a little more than an hour and a half of travel, we will arrive at the home of Diana and Sergio, local fishermen, who will accompany us in this unique experience. We will board the rubber dinghies and at full speed we will head towards the greenhouses located in the Beagle Channel. Together with our fishing guides, we will share the excitement of searching for spider crabs, lifting the nets and catching our own lunch.
