Description

Departure from the hotel by minibus by road (20 km.) to the Tierra Mayor valley. From the Nunatak refuge we start the hike during which we cross tubal forests, streams and centenary forests of Lenga and Coihues. The possibility of spotting foxes, condors and beavers is always present. The Esmeralda Lagoon is located in the heart of the Tierra del Fuego Natural and Landscape Reserve, the color of its waters and its geographical location in the middle of the Fuegian mountain range invites us to stop and rest on its shores while we have lunch. Finally, we return to the refuge by a different route than the one we took on the way out and then return to the hotel. Note: Not allowed for pregnant women, people with heart, respiratory or circulatory problems, knee or spine problems, overweight.
